Jamie Weiss - Associate Director
Jamie has been involved in the ministry of "His Place" from a young age.  After volunteering at the center for several years, he was hired as an intern for the summer of 2006.  The following fall, he was promoted to Associate Director as the center sought to increase its staff to help the director meet the needs of increased programming.

After recently graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Biology, Jamie is currently teaching 9th grade science at Frick ISA in Oakland, and plans on starting his Masters of Arts in Teaching in the summer.  He also loves playing with computers, and helps run the "His Place" website and has been involved in our computer lab project.  He is also directly involved with the after-school tutoring program at the center, and chairs the homeless outreach committee.
