David White has been with the First Christian Church of McKeesport the past 12 years. A deacon and Sunday school teacher, he enjoys touching the lives of others by shining God’s light. Previously, David was a youth leader with his church’s youth group for 6 years.  

With a Bachelors degree from Carnegie Mellon’s Psychology program in 1993, David has worked in the Software Information Technology arena for the last 15 years, with his most recent position being a business intelligence architect in Pittsburgh for the Education Management Corporation. Outside of work and church is David's most important task: being a good husband and father to his loving wife Elynor and their four fantastic children. David has trained in Japanese martial arts for over 20 years, and teaches martial arts during the week at his school in East Liberty. David is currently the chairman for the education committee at His Place.  

I’m looking forward to seeing the impact His Place makes in the lives of the children and their families. I pray that God will continue to develop wisdom and discernment in the children coming from His Place. It is my sincere desire to assist where I can to make the tasks of operating His Place less strenuous, the operations of His Place more fruitful, and the people in His Place genuinely smile.
