Take a Mission Trip to His Place
Mission Trips are a very popular form of evangelism, and we welcome your church to take a mission trip to His Place - even if your church is right in Pittsburgh.  For the past several years, various mission groups have held VBS programs, done work on the building, and helped minister to the homeless.

Benefits of a His Place mission trip include:
  • Experience the culture of a large city
  • See the many points-of-interest in Pittsburgh
  • Build relationships with urban students
  • Opportunity for your students to grow spiritually, and get out of their comfort zones
  • Your expenses will be minimal, as your entire group can stay at our large facility including
    • Ample sleeping space
    • Several bathrooms, including showers
    • Wireless Internet access
    • Full kitchen with electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave

Your group will get the chance to view the city from Mt. Washington

Do a Mini Mission Trip
Don't have the time or resources for a full mission trip?  Consider doing a day or weekend trip to His Place.  This is especially useful for churches in or near Western Pennsylvania.

Testimonials
Here is what participants of past mission trips have had to say:

"Going into the mission trip I expected to grow spiritually, and I knew that we would make a difference. However, I never realized how strong of a bond I would have with the kids in one week. It was then that I realized they impacted and shaped me far more than what I ever did for them. A mutual transformation occurred and I felt God's hand throughout the entire experience! Arriving at Pittsburgh airport I was going on a week-long mission trip. Yet leaving, I realized that His Place was the initial catalyst in what God is going to do in my life- not a one-week mission. To go on a mission doesn't mean leaving the state. The mission is all around you, and His Place opened those blinders once over my eyes."
