On Wednesday July 9 His Place teamed up with some folks from West Hills Christian Church and a mission team from Forcey Memorial Church in MD for the first homeless cookout on the north side. Hopefully this will be the first of many. We gave away hundreds of hamburgers and hot dogs, spent some time hanging out with the guys, and the group from Forcey did some open-air evangelism.
