This past year we've had the privilege of meeting a couple of really great fathers of our His Place kids. One of them told me how he wanted to be involved in the lives of his kids and especially how he wanted them to do well in school since he'd had trouble with reading. He takes the kids fishing, got them musical instruments ...and a puppy. He is also a member of a band and writes music. A few weeks ago we were thrilled to be asked to attend an afternoon service in the Hills District where his six year old daughter would be singing one of the songs he had written. We went and were blessed. Blessed by the service and the people we met. Blessed by hearing the music at the service. But mostly blessed by seeing the love in a six year old little girls eyes as she looked at and sang together with her daddy.
