| We just wrapped up a wonderful summer
at His Place with our annual trip to Lake Erie. We'd had to postpone the
trip because of rain on an earlier date so we were all relieved to wake
up to a gorgeous day. A group of us piled into the vans early on
Saturday for the two hour drive and spent the whole day swimming, laying
on the beach, digging in sand and just having a ball being together.
For most of the kids this is the only day of the year they get out to the beach and they anxiously await it's arrival. Already they are asking about our next trip there. Thanks so much to all of you that support this ministry and enable us to take trips like this and get the kids out of the city into the beautiful world that God created for us to enjoy. |
