Mission Trip Opportunities at "His Place"

Mission trips are a very popular form of evangelism.  Every summer, churches across the country raise thousands of dollars and travel thousands of miles to spend a week or two serving at a mission field abroad.  One reason mission trips are so popular is because of the hands-on experience your church members receive.

You can get this same benefit by bringing a mission group to work in the city of Pittsburgh at "His Place."  On a mission trip to "His Place," you'll experience the culture of a large city, and the many points of interest in Pittsburgh.  You'll also be able to experience one-on-one relationships with young people and their families in the inner-city of Pittsburgh.

Mission groups can develop their own type of ministry, for example, in the past groups have performed work projects, vacation Bible schools, and many other things.  Costs will be minimal, as your group will be able to stay in our ten-room facility, which includes three bathrooms with showers as well as a kitchen with stove, microwave, and refrigerator  There is no costs for staying at the building, but you'll need to provide your own food.

In the past, several different groups have come to "His Place" and had very successful mission trips.  Last summer a group of 22 from Tennessee spent a week at "His Place," doing work around the building and holding a VBS for the kids.  A group from the Children's Church at West Hills Christian Church also came and volunteered.
